The city has the unique distinction of being the capital of the states of Punjab, Haryana and the Union territory of Chandigarh. The city serves as the gateway to the famous hill station of Shimla and Manali.

Shimla tourism is an ideal for those who plan to get away from the scorching heat of the plains and enjoy in the midst of the land of snow and clouds. Shimla is referred to as the Queen of Hills because of its enormous scenic and natural beauty. Holidaying in Shimla is matter of heavy delight and fun.

Manali is an important Himalayan hill station of northern India which is famous for its superb beauty of nature, cool & pleasant ambiance, adventure sports and amazing tourist attractions. The spectacular view of snow-capped Himalayan mountain peaks. Fruit orchards, Wild flower gardens, picture-perfect places, architectural structures and temples.

Dharamshala stands at the foot of Dhauladhar and has a magnificent view of snowy peaks, deodar and pine forests, tea gardens and beautiful hills. Picturesque Dharamsala, built on a spur of the Dhauladhar range, commands splendid view of the surrounding country. Originally a little hill resort built by the British, Dharamsala rambles up in levels to very near the snow line.

The popular hill station of Dalhousie is located in the Chamba Valley. The lush cover of vegetation that adorns the town comprises of towering pines, deodars, oaks, and the beautiful rhododendron plants. Dalhousie is know for its old churches. Dalhousie with its breath taking mountain chains and thick forests of deodar trees attracts a lot of tourists.

Amritsar is a holy city in the state of Punjab. Amritsar means Pool of Nectar. Under the guidance of Guru Amar Das, the city was founded by Guru Ram Das in 1574. Amritsar is known more for the world famous Golden Temple, the seat of Sikh religion.

Day 01 : Delhi - Chandigarh
On arrival, Meet and Greet with Representative of KSHITIJ TRAVELS at Delhi Airport/Train Station. After greetings drive to Chandigarh (250Kms/5Hrs) and check-in to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02 : Chandigarh - Shimla
Breakfast at the hotel and go out for half day city tour. Visit the famous Rock Garden, this unique sculpture garden was created by Nek Chand. Nek Chand began to transform a dump of discarded building materials into a Rock Garden. Visit Rose Garden, also known as Zakir Hussain Rose Garden. This is the largest Rose Garden in Asia and is spread over an area of 27 acres. We also visit the shrine of Mata Mansa Devi. There is a belief about this place that the head of Devi Sati had fallen here and the place is the seat of strength. People from all over the country visit this sacred place to get the blessings of Goddess Mansa Devi. Thereafter drive to Shimla (119 Kms/3hrs). Check in at your hotel and evening free for rest or explore at your own.

Day 03 : Shimla
Morning after breakfast, you will visit Kufri, just an hours drive from Shimla. Kufri is famous for its trekking and hiking trails. Adventure-seeking travelers throng Kufri in winters to enjoy skiing and tobogganing along its snow-covered slopes. Later this afternoon take a walking tour of Shimla, visit the JakHoo hills that offer a panoramic view of the town. A fair walk through The Mall is required to appreciate the beauty of the Ridge. The large space in the heart of town presents excellent views of the mountain ranges. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04 : Shimla - Manali
After breakfast drive to Manali (260 kms/6hrs) for approx 6 hours. Check in at your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel in Manali.

Day 05 : Manali
Morning after breakfast, you can take a full day tour of Manali, visiting the Hidimba Devi Temple, is one of the most important temples in the region. Visit the Vashisth Spring, across the Beas river, at an altitude of 1,982 meters (6,200 feet), are the natural sulphur springs. The village itself is perched on a steep hillside across the river Beas. Also visit Manu Temple, Manali is named after the sage Manu who meditated when he came in this area. Tibetan Temple, tibetans have a base in Manali too. There is a large modern Tibetan temple to the South of the bus stand and also a small handicrafts centre. Thereafter visit to Mountaineering Institute : provides training facilities for basic and advance climbing. Institute conducts other adventurous sports activities like high altitude trekking, minor mountaineering, rock-climbing, skiing, and high altitude rescue and relief courses.

Day 06 : Manali - Rhotang
After breakfast in the hotel, full day excursion tour to Rohtang Pass (51kms). Located at a height of 3980 mt, the Pass once served as a crucial trade route, and still remains the gateway to the districts of Lahaul and Spiti. It provides wonderful views of the entire surroundings. The Beas Kund, the source of the Beas river, a holy site for Hindus, as the sage Vyas is said to have meditated at this spot, is also accessible from the Rohtang Pass. Back to manali. Evening walking tour of Mall Road. Overnight at hotel.

Day 07 : Manali - Dharamshala
After early breakfast drive to Dharamshala (253 kms). Dharamsala is known for its scenic beauty, calmness and serenity. Tour to Dharamshala takes you to the high pine trees, tea gardens, timber yielding trees that are overlooked by Dhauladhar Himalayan ranges. A nearby snowline with numerous streams and cool healthy atmosphere makes the surroundings very attractive. Situated at a distance of 9 km down of McLeodganj, the city of Dharamsala is divided into two parts; upper Dharamsala and lower Dharamsala. In the year 1849 the British army had posted its regiment and made it one of the prime summer holiday spot. Walk and enjoy the scenic beauty of Dalai Lamas holy place. Overnight at hotel in Dharamshala.

Day 08 : Dharamshala - Dalhausie
A visit to Dharamsala would be considered irrelevent without a peek into the various monasteries dotting the hillsides. After breakfast drive to Dalhausie (176 kms) Dalhousie is soul refreshing because Dalhousie is the quietest hill station in India. Dalhousie offers a very calm and quiet holiday time and gives you a chance to enjoy the beaty of nature in a relaxed manner. Dalhousie is also for those who love to go for camping in the wilderness of Himalayas. On arrival, check into the hotel, relax and set out for a local sightseeing tour of Dalhousie. Rest of the day is at leisure to enjoy the beauty of nature at Dalhousie. In the evening enjoy walk tour of mall road. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 09 : Dalhausie – Khajjiar
After breakfast, drive to Khajjiar, approx an houre drive through dense forest area will take you to Khajjiar. Khajjiar is a small town located in the beautiful Chamba Valley. Fenced by the tall Deodar trees, Khajjiar is nestled well in the laps of Himalayas. Khajjiar is famous for the ancient, 12th century, golden-domed temple of Khajinag. overnight at hotel. Other attaractions are The Lake in the rolling green turf is a small lake. In the evening return to the hotel. Overnight stay will be at Hotel.

Day 10 : Dalhausie - Chamba
After breakfast drive down to Chamba (56kms), this city gives us an insight into the ancient cultural heritage of the people in this hill city. This land of magical tranquility, charming landscape, refreshing air, mountain passes and slopes and is an ideal place for nature lovers. At the centre of the city lies the public walkway popularly known as “Chaugan” . We start a sightseeing tour of the city. The tour will visit to some of the temples found in this city include the Laxminarayan temple, Hari Rai temple, Chamunda Devi temple and the Mani Mahesh temple. Overnight stay at hotel in Chamba.

Day 11 : Chamba - Amritsar
After having breakfast in the morning, drive 190 kms to Amritsar, is considered as the very vibrant and the colorful city. Amritsar is a city which has witnessed the tragedy of the Jallian Wala Bagh. Arrive and check into the hotel. In the afternoon proceed for an excursion tour to Amritsar Cityl. Visit The Golden Temple, situated in the heart of Amritsar. The golden Temple or Harmandir Sahib is the most sacred and the most magnificent Sikh Shrine. It was Guru Arjan Dev who installed the sacred Guru Granth Sahib in the premises. It is built on a 67 feet square platform situated right in the middle of Sarovar (tank). We also visit Jalianwala Bagh, On April 13, 1919, many people gathered inside the Jalianwala Bagh for Baisakhi celebration. Under the command of General Dyer, soldiers were marched into Jallianwala Bagh and asked to open fire at the gathered public. Today it is converted into a memorial for all the people who lost their lives. In the evening visit Wagah Border, this border is also defined as the indo-Pak border. From the main city of Amritsar this border is located at the distance of the 28 km. The outstanding spectator which has drawn the attention of the many of the visitors is the changing of the guard’s ceremony. Return and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 12 : Amritsar - Delhi
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive back to Delhi. Arrive Delhi, and you will be transferred to your hotel or Indira Gandhi International Airport for your onward journey.
